Margie Zyble serves as the Chief Talent & Culture Officer for GE Aviation, a $30B and 50,000 employee global division of the General Electric Company. Based in Cincinnati, OH, Margie leads global talent and culture related strategies and activities for the business.
Margie has 18 years of HR experience across multiple GE businesses. She joined GE Capital in 2001 as a member of the Human Resources Leadership Program(HRLP)before transitioning to an HR generalist role with GE Corporate. In 2004, Margie joined GE Oil & Gas in Minden, NV then moved to Greenville, SC with GE Power, holding progressively responsible client HR roles supporting primarily manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering.
In 2009, Margie was named Global HR Leader for GE Renewables, where she was responsible for HR strategy and activities across the wind and solar products and services business headquartered in Schenectady, NY. In 2012, Margie accepted the role of Services Fulfillment HR Leader and relocated to Atlanta,GA. In 2013, Margie became the Head of Talent for the Power Generation Products and Services businesses, driving talent, pipeline development and HR operations across almost 16,000 global employees. In 2014, her role was expanded to include HR leadership for the GE PowerGen Products and Alstom Gas integration. Margie joined GE Aviation in October 2015 as the HR Leader of the Military business, and transitioned into her current role in November of 2016.
Margie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kalamazoo College (MI) and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Michigan State University. She and her husband, Steve, have three children and live in the Cincinnati area.
