OOD Launches Site For Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities has launched a new website to streamline the process of finding vocational rehabilitation resources.
Ohioans who are interested in vocational rehabilitation services can watch a video about the services, take a self-assessment and apply for services online.
The website - OODWorks.com - is designed to streamline the process for individuals who might benefit from the services but might have transportation or other concerns, the agency said.
After a person completes an application, an OOD staff member will contact them and schedule an appointment. The services include deciding if the person is eligible for services, setting employment goals, establishing a plan for meeting those goals and obtaining job services and training, according to the agency.
